Steven J. Vaughan-Nichols, aka sjvn, has been writing
about business and technology since you couldn’t get fired for buying
IBM, CP/M-80 was the cutting edge, PC operating system; 300bps was a
fast Internet connection; WordStar was the state of the art word
processor; and we liked it!

Along the way, he’s used, and written about, every Microsoft operating
system starting with MS-DOS 3.3 and Xenix (didn’t know Microsoft used to
ship a Unix did you?) to Server 2008 and Windows 7.
